Is your SEO training suitable for all types of businesses?
If you are operating a one-person business in a highly-competitive industry it is unlikely that you will have the time or resources to implement the advice provided in this session.
If your business competes with the likes of Amazon, Etsy or eBay on Google it will require significant expertise and budget to stand any chance of gaining visibility in the search results.
For this reason, businesses falling into the above categories are unlikely to get value from my training. -
Is the training session held online or face-to-face?
I now only offer face-to-face sessions for teams of 20 or more attendees. For smaller teams or individuals, all sessions are held via a live Zoom video meeting.
I have not experienced any reduction in attendee engagement with online meetings, which also provide the following benefits:
- A permanent (private) recording of the session for later reference.
- Avoids the time, cost and environmental impact of attendees having to commute to a venue.
- Avoids the cost of a training venue hire which is passed on to my clients through a reduced session pricing. -
Do you offer shared or group sessions?
My clients find they learn much more when the training is tailored to their own needs. They can also apply what they learned when the training is wholly focused on their business and industry. For this reason, I do not offer shared or group sessions.

Will I really learn everything I need to know about SEO in 4 hours?
Because this is a one-to-one session focused solely on your business, knowledge level, and needs, you'll learn much more in a shorter period of time. There's zero fluff: it's all clear, current, and concise.

We have more than one website. Can we use multiple websites as examples in the session?
If you'd like me to appraise multiple sites this can be arranged but at additional cost. Please contact me for details.

Can I make changes to the site while on the training?
Sorry - any updates to your site must be carried out in your own time.

Are there any businesses or individuals for which you do not provide SEO training?
I'm afraid I don't provide training to small, local trades businesses (e.g. plumbers) targeting customers within a specific radius of their location.
I don't provide training to anyone without a live website that I can use to assess the legitimacy of the business. If I feel that a business does not appear legitimate, ethical or offers genuine value to consumers, I may refuse to provide training. This includes businesses of an unethical or illegal nature, sites that contain content of little value, drop-shipping sites, affiliate sites or sites that act as a gateway to other sites. I reserve the right to refuse any booking without explanation.
My training is designed for those looking to apply SEO to their own site. Therefore, I don't offer training to agencies or freelancers who provide SEO as a service to other businesses. -
Do you offer training to individuals looking to start a career in the SEO industry?
I only offer training to the owners of a business/orginisation or those working for the business/orginisation. I do not provide training to individuals seeking to work in the SEO industry.

What should I bring?
There is nothing you need to bring. I will send you a list of questions about your business in advance of the session.

Do you offer discounts to registered charities and non-profits?
I spend two days per week working pro-bono for the Prince’s Trust. I regret therefore that I am not in a position to offer any discounts or concessions outside of this arrangement.

Do you offer training on evenings or weekends?
Sorry. Sessions are held only during office hours Monday to Friday.

What time does the session start?
The training session typically runs from 10:00-14:00 (including breaks). However, if you would prefer a different start time, just let me know when completing the booking form.
